Wiscasset Boys’ Tennis Nip Roadrunners, Fall To Bulldogs and Mustangs

Wiscasset boys’ tennis wrapped up their Mt. Valley season Tuesday with a 3-2 loss to Hall-Dale. The Redskins beat Mt. Abram 3-2 on May 20 and lost 5-0 to Monmouth on May 22. Wiscasset ended the regular season with a 5-6 record and look to be seeded fourth or fifth in post season play.

Wiscasset 3 – Mt. Abram 2Jordan Jones lost 8-10 to Joe Lampron. Chris Cummins beat Forrest Collins 10-1. Wiscasset forfeited at third singles, Brad Richardson and Zach Ledoux beat Devon Littlefield and Forest Mitchell 10-7. Caleb Bryant and Ben Jones beat Aiden Drumstis and Mitchell Toothacher 10-2.Hall-Dale 3 – Wiscasset 2Wiscasset lost a close match with Hall-Dale on May 22. J. Jones beat Joe Shagoury 11-9. Cummings lost 11-10 with a 6-8 tiebreaker to Austin Langsdorf. Richardson beat Nic Meisier 10-4. Jesse Hinman and B. Jones lost 9-11 to John Koenig and Michael Rienard. Bryant and John McLeod lost 6-10 to Aaron Wohl and Cody Patterson.Monmouth 5 – Wiscasset 0Monmouth swept the Redskins 5-0 on May 20. J. Jones fell 3-10 to Noah Bosworth.
