Wiscasset Fall Sports Awards

Wiscasset High School held their fall sports recognition night on Mon., Nov. 3. Awards by sport are as follows:

Girls’ varsity soccer awards were presented to Alison Preble (Most Valuable, and Sportsmanship), Abigail Austin (Coach’s Award), and Ashley Mumbower (Most Improved).

Boys’ cross country awards were presented to Brad Whitaker (Most Valuable), Blake Plummer (Sportsmanship), Jared Snell (Coach’s Award) and Alex Smelcer (Most Improved).

Girls’ cross-country awards were presented to Crysta Brown (Most Valuable), and Krista Bailey (Sportsmanship).

Boys’ varsity soccer awards were presented to Nicholas McLeod (Most Valuable, Sportsmanship), Timothy George (Coach’s Award), and John McLeod (Most Improved).

Golf awards were presented to Jordan Jones (Most Valuable), Charles Stewart (Sportsmanship), Heather Hodgdon (Coach’s Award), and Justin Caron (Most Improved).

MVC All-AcademicSeveral Wiscasset athletes were selected to the Mt. Valley Conference All-Academic athletes, including cross-country runners Ariel Brown, Lauren Emery, Eden Walsh, Dustin Dorr and Jared Snell, and soccer players Nicholas McLeod, Tim George, Cameron Grover and Alex Slack.MVC All-ConferenceAlex Slack (soccer), Jordan Jones (golf) and James Davis (golf) were selected to the MVC First Team All-Conference team. Tyler Sonia (soccer) and Justin Caron (golf) were selected to the MVC Second Team All-Conference team.
