Wiscasset girls basketball team picked up their second win of the season on Dec. 19 with a 48-38 victory over Lisbon. Wiscasset led for the first 24 minutes of the game, until Kaylin Le hit a shot at the third quarter buzzer to put Lisbon up 32-31 going into the final period.
The Greyhounds went up by three in the fourth, but the lead was erased by a 10 point Wolverine run. Wiscasset settled four of eight foul shots in the final two minutes to pull out a 10 point win.
Wiscasset was led by Alecia Faulkingham 17, Kayla Gordon 15 and Tylan Onorato 10. Lisbon was led by Kate Philbrick 12 and Katherin George 10.
