Wiscasset girls soccer team picked up their second win of the season, 2-1 over Mt.Valley on Oct. 4 in the Wolverines’ den. Cara Viele gave Wiscasset a 1-0 lead when she collected a pass from Latisha Wright and floated in a 20 yard boot. Mt.Valley tied the score 20 seconds later on a shot from Sophie Ladd. Wright scored the game winner with 1:02 remaining in the first half when she walked in a cross from Eliza Paradis.
