The Wiscasset girls soccer team beat Valley 1-0 on Saturday, Oct. 11 in Wiscasset. Jessie Rhinebolt scored the only goal of the game when she booted the ball into a narrow space between the goalie and the left post. Wolverines goalie Addy Eckert made six saves.
The Wolverines improved to 4-8 with the win and moved into 12th place out of 16 teams in the eight person South division with two games remaining on their schedule. Valley remained winless at 0-11-1.
