Wiscasset softball dropped a double header against Hall-Dale and Spruce Mountain on May 21 in Wolverine territory. In game one they fell 37-1 to the Bulldogs, and in game two, 21-5 to Spruce Mountain.
Wiscasset spoiled the shutout against Hall-Dale with a run in the fourth inning, scored when Joanna Collins walked and Bri Orr and Lindsay Jones singled. Hall-Dale was led by Sarah Benner and Iris Ireland with two doubles and three singles each.
Against Spruce Mountain, Thayer reached on an error and scored on a Farrah Casey single in the third. Wiscasset added four runs in the fifth on a three run double to Casey. Spruce Mountain was led by Adelle Foss and Emily Castonguay with a homerun each.
