Wiscasset softball picked up their second win of the season on a road trip to Mt.Abram, 27-17. Wiscasset took advantage of numerous walks and timely hits to score eight runs in the third, 10 in the fifth and six in the seventh.
The Wolverines were led at the plate by Casey Farrah with a double and two singles, and Stephanie Jones, Lindsey Gordon and Kelsey Jones two singles each. The Roadrunners were led by Summer Ross with three singles, and Abby Holland, Kiley Holt and Allison Pinkham with two each.
Wiscasset catcher Casey Farrah threw Holt out trying to steal third. Gordon made a spectacular diving catch in left field.
