Wiscasset softball picked up their second win of the season on May 9 with a 13-2 victory over Mt.Valley. August Moore collected the win. Hitting for the Lady Wolverines were Sydnie Thayer with a triple and two singles, Kelsey Jones a triple and single, Farrah Casey four singles and Maeve Blodgett, Corey Campbell and Ellie Pratt a single each. Audra Dean led the Falcons with two singles.
Wiscasset baseball lost to Mt.Valley 22-4. Blanchard struck out nine in the win. Mt.Valley jumped out to a 14-0 lead after two innings. Josh Dualan came on in relief for the final three innings (5R, 2H).
Hitting for Wiscasset were Haiden Dunning a homerun, Ronald Drake a double, and CJ Robert and James Hodson a single each. Mt.Valley was led by Garbarini with three singles, and Derosches a grand slam homerun in the first inning.
