Wiscasset High School held their spring sports awards individually by team. Awards by sport are as follows:
Girls tennis awards were presented to Miranda McIntire (MVP and Sportsmanship), Hannah Welborn (Coach’s Award), and Hayhlee Craig (Most Improved). Hanna Foye and Maeve Carlson were named MVC Honorable Mentions.
Boys tennis player Tom Anderson was selected to the MVC 1st Team, and Ethan James and Ridge Barnes named MVC Honorable Mentions.
Boys track and field awards went to Brandon Goud (MVP), Sam Storer (Coach’s Award), Colin Viele (Most Improved), and Jake Traylot (Sportsmanship).
Girls track and field awards were presented to Ayanna Main (MVP, MVC 2nd Team and MVC Honorable Mention, WHS record breaker), Gabrielle Chapman (Coach’s Award), Keara Hunter (Most Improved) and Jenna Bickford (Sportsmanship).
Varsity softball awards went to Kayla Gordon (MVP, MVC Honorable Mention), Charlene Reed (Coach’s Award, MVC Honorable Mention), Lindsey Gordon (Most Improved) and Leah Potter (Sportsmanship).
Varsity baseball awards were presented to Tyler Bailey (MVP, MVC Honorable Mention), Grant Hefler (Coach’s Award, MVC Honorable Mention), Conlon Ranta (Most Improved), and Tyler Flavin (Sportsmanship).
