Veteran coach Warren Cossette has a good group out for track and field this spring, including many veteran and talented athletes. There are 33 athletes out for the team, including 19 boys and 14 girls.
The Redskins return two athletes who placed in the MVC championship meet in 2010, including senior Brian Campbell who took third in the Mt.Valley Conference 400 and fifth in the 200, and sophomore Cormac Walsh who placed eighth in the MVC discus in 2010.
Members of the 2011 team include seniors Campbell, Ryan Urquhart, Ross Hanley, John McLeod, Crysta Brown, Rebecca Slack, Morgan Dodge, Lauren Trudeau, Cassandra Tardif and Hayley Grant; juniors Jonathan West, Ricky Cost, Alex Cromwell, Michaela Thibeault and Kelsey Hammond; sophomores Kyle Shute, Walsh, Tom Beutler, Logan Grover, John Rines, Joe Chapman, Ryan Urquhart, and Alyssa Urquhart; and freshmen Josh Delong, Jason Berry, Jordan Savage, Bryan Bennett-Nein, Matthew Mills, Kasey Cromwell, Kristen Cavanaugh, Michaela Trudeau, Madeline Wehle and Samantha Sutter.
