The CLC YMCA in Damariscotta is proud to announce that Kristen Coker and Lucinda Holbach, tennis professionals at the CLC YMCA, will represent New England at the USTA Intersectional Women’s Tennis Event.
The event will be Nov. 19-22 at the Naples Bath and Tennis Center in Naples, Fla.
In addition to New England other USTA sections to be represented are Northern California, Southern California, Texas, Florida, Pacific Northwest, Southern, Midwest, Intermountain, Mid-Atlantic, Missouri Valley, Eastern and Middle States. It is an age group event, starting at 35 and over, through age 75 and over.
Holbach and Coker were selected as two of the top tennis players in New England. Both have impressive playing backgrounds.
Holbach played at UNC Chapel Hill where she was an All American, and Coker played at Assumption College where she set school records in singles and doubles and is a member of the Northeast 10 Hall of Fame.
