Maranacook baseball defeated Lincoln Academy 9-0 on May 16 in the Black Bears den. Florek scattered three his in the win. Six pitchers took the mound for the Eagles.
Collecting a hit each for Lincoln were John Henry, Baker Gove and Quincy Perry (double). Hitting leaders for the Black Bears were Bowie with a double and single (2RBI), and Florek, Beckwith and McPhedron with two singles and a RBI each.
