Second seed Boothbay girls basketball team crushed Mt.Abram 60-21 in a South Class C quarter-final game on Feb. 20 at the Augusta Civic Center. The Lady Seahwaks jumped out to a 10-2 first quarter lead and continued to soar over the final three periods.
Scoring leaders for Boothbay were Page Brown 15 (19 rebounds), Faith Blethen 15, Sydney Meader 14 and Kate Friant 8. Mt.Abram was led by Summer Ross with 12.
