Victoria Silvestri, 102, formerly of New London, Conn. and Naples, Fla., passed away in Maine on Aug. 19 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. She was born on Sept. 28, 1913 in Providence, R.I. to Lorenzo and Ortenzia Montecalvo.
Victoria was predeceased by her parents; husband, Fred Silvestri; her seven siblings; grandson, Jonathan Silvestri; and daughters-in-law, Stewart Silvestri and Barbara Silvestri.
Victoria is survived by sons, Errol T. Silvestri (Kathryn) of Friendship, and Paul L. Silvestri (Marilyn) of Stuart, Fla.; grandchildren, Victoria Olsen, Stewart Silvestri (Pamela), Christopher Silvestri, and Jessica Silvestri O’Brien (Ned); and great-grandchildren, Nicolas Olsen, Anna Olsen, Mackenzie O’Brien, John P. Silvestri, Jack O’Brien, Sarah Silvestri, Stewart Silvestri and Mia Silvestri.
A private service will be held in the fall.
