Ocean on Tap is an informal, ocean-centric speaker series organized by researchers from Bigelow Laboratory and hosted by Footbridge Brewery in Boothbay Harbor. Our goal is to bring people of the community together over the fascinating world of the ocean. At these events, speakers will share their corner of expertise in the ocean, and attendees are encouraged to ask questions. The next Ocean on Tap event will take place on March 13th from 6-7pm at Footbridge Brewery. Dr. Isaac Miller of Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences will be speaking about what microbes eat in the sea and the cutting edge experimental methods he uses to study this.
