Glennis Hutchinson, 84, of Whitefield, passed away on June 4, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Livermore Falls after a brief illness. She was born on Dec. 13, 1939, a daughter of Donald and Hazel (Cunningham) Jackson.

Rebecca Lee ‘Becky’ Fraser Sept. 26, 1975 – June 1, 2024

Rebecca Lee “Becky” (Yering) Fraser, 48, went home to heaven in the early hours of June 1, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, leaving those around her blown away by the fact that her positive attitude never wavered. She leaves here on earth a community of family and friends who feel lucky to have been loved by her.

Elizabeth Bianchi Dress-Up Fun Run June 8

Medomak Valley High School PAWS – Peers Assisting With Sincerity – is holding a Disney-inspired 5K/fun run Saturday, June 8 starting at 10 a.m. This dress-up fun run will be honoring science and technology teacher and assistant cross country coach, Elizabeth Bianchi who passed away from a year-long battle from breast cancer.

The state primary is Tuesday, June 11. The polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at all mainland locations.
