Breaking News — With Most Towns Reporting, Some Outcomes Still in Doubt
(posted 11/5 at 2:45 a.m.) Most Lincoln County towns have reported their voting results from the election on Tues., but several of those that haven’t reported yet could significantly effect some races that are still in doubt.

Mrs. Marie (Bonner) Weeks, 89, of Peabody, Mass., formerly of Danvers, Mass., beloved wife of the late Adolph A. Weeks Jr., died Oct. 28 following a brief illness at her home at Brooksby Village.

June M. Riley, 87, of Damariscotta, passed away on the evening of Oct. 31 at the home of her daughter in Louisville, Ky.
James Leon McFarland
James Leon McFarland, 86, of South Bristol, passed away early on the morning of Nov. 1 at Maine Medical Center with his family at his side.
Marjorie (Marge) Hall Gordon
Marjorie (Marge) Hall Gordon, of Warren, died Nov. 1 at the Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland after a battle with Alzheimer’s.

News Update – Medomak Valley Denied in Eastern B Semi Finals
The season ended for the Medomak Valley High School soccer teams in the semi final round of the Eastern Maine Class B tournament Saturday. The Lady Panthers lost to Winslow 1-0 and the boys lost to Camden Hills 2-1.

She was born on Barters Island, Sept. 24, 1918, the daughter of Raymond and Mabel Sidelinger Gove.

Cecil Bennett “Ben” Heaberlin Jr., 80, of Boothbay Harbor, died Nov. 1 at St. Andrews Gregory Wing in Boothbay Harbor.

Edward E. Benner III, 56, of New Bedford, Mass. and Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., passed away Oct. 26 after a long battle with cancer.
