South Bristol Planning Board meets the first Tuesday of each month, 7 P.M., at the Town Hall on Clarks Cove Road, Walpole. The public is welcomed to attend meetings. Permits are to be filled out and presented at the Town Hall the Thursday before each regular meeting.

The Waldoboro Board of Selectmen will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 6:00 in the evening at the Waldoboro Municipal Building, 1600 Atlantic Highway in Waldoboro to obtain public comment on an amendment and approval to the Town of Waldoboro Traffic Ordinance.

The Harbor Committee of South Bristol will be holding a meeting on January 8th at 5pm.

This is a public meeting at the Town Office.

Lincoln Theater invites qualified construction professionals to submit proposals for the renovation of the theater’s historic (1875) lobby adhering to an approved architectural design.

Nomination papers will be available at the town office Monday, January 13, 2025, for the following positions:

Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 31 the Town Office will be closing at 12:00pm.

Bremen Solar Committee will be meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 5:00 pm. This meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Town Office, 208 Waldoboro Road.

Shellfish Licenses Sales start on January 2nd, 2025. These will be sold to those 2024 license holders, who by virtue of their conservation work, are eligible. Licenses will be on sale for 90 days.

The Alna Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on proposed amendments to Alna’s Floodplain Ordinance on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, at 5:30 pm at the Alna Town Office. Copies of the proposed amended ordinance are available on the Town’s website (http://alna.maine.gov) and from the Alna town clerk.
