Great Salt Bay School boys soccer team won the Busline League championship on Oct. 20 at Lookout Point in Linconville. The Cougars captured a 3-2 double overtime win over Oceanside. Jack Duncan scored both goals for GSB.

Boothbay Boys, Lincoln Boys and Medomak Girls Qualify for States Regional cross country
Three local cross country teams qualified for State championships on Sat., Oct. 20. Boothbay boys placed third in South Class C. Lincoln Academy boys placed fourth in South Class B. Medomak Valley girls placed fifth in North Class B. In addition, Faith and Glory Blethen, of Boothbay, placed in the top ten to qualify for the State Class C meet.

Lincoln Academy boys cross country team placed three runners in the top four to win the KVAC Class B championship at Cony High School in Augusta on Oct. 13. Sam Russ won the B championship, Jarrett Gulden took second and Jojo Martin fourth.
