A fire in a light fixture at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta forced the evacuation of a long-term care wing at the nursing home early Thursday morning, Sept. 18. Cove’s Edge is a 76-bed long-term care and skilled-care facility.

Connecticut Couple Dies in Boothbay Accident
A Connecticut couple died in a high-speed, single-vehicle accident on Route 27 in Boothbay the morning of Friday, Sept. 5. Donald Hudson, 85, and his wife, Doreen Hudson, 67, of Madison, died in the accident.
