A Camden man operating a sport utility vehicle on Route 17 in Somerville Feb. 21 died from injuries sustained when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck an oncoming delivery truck, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

An Alna man rolled over his four-wheel-drive SUV on Route 1 in Newcastle this afternoon as a result of poor road conditions during the snowstorm.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch in regard to a weather system forecast to bring 6 to 10 inches of snowfall accumulation beginning in the early morning hours of Wednesday.

A blustery snowstorm that plowed through Lincoln County Tuesday night has left 51 households in Bremen without power, according to Central Maine Power.

The proposed education budget for Bremen high school students could result in up to a $72,340 or 27.9 percent increase for local taxpayers for the 2014-2015 school year.
