Lincoln County was down to only 456 power outages this morning, but that number climbed to over 2000 by mid morning, according to Central Maine Power. The 12:34 p.m. report from CMP put the number of current outages at 1178.

Medomak Valley High School had no water as of midday on Dec. 20, but classes remained in session, according to MVHS Principal Harold Wilson. A number of sporting events have been postponed, however.
