David Reed passed away on June 7 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. He was born the son of George and Ida Dickinson Reed on May 19, 1922 in Boothbay Harbor.

Marguerite Elizabeth Curtis, 90, of Walpole, passed away early the morning June 4 at her home with family members by her side. Born on Nov. 11, 1927 in Waldoboro, she was the daughter of George and Myra (Orff) Soule.

Bernice “Bunny” Gamage, 89, of Damariscotta, transitioned peacefully into spirit on the morning of June 1. Born on July 14, 1928 in Portland, she was the daughter of Patricia Dunn and Louis Bellefontaine.

Lemuel M. Miller, 89, of Waldoboro, died peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his home May 30.

Joan W. Hallowell, 66, of Nobleboro, passed away at her home on the morning of June 4 with her husband, Larry Hallowell, by her side after losing her battle with multiple myeloma. Born in Damariscotta on March 27, 1952, she was the daughter of Ralph and Abby (Brown) Welton.

Evangeline “Vangie” O’Brien, 89, of Damariscotta, passed away on the evening of May 31, with her loving family by her side, at Glenridge in Augusta. Born on Sept. 16, 1928 in Rockport, she was the daughter of Edward and Flora (Davis) Noyes.

Stephen Hirsch, better known as Steve, passed away on May 24 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Fla. following complications from heart surgery.
