A memorial service for Boyce Ficklen Martin Jr., longtime summer resident of Pemaquid Point who died June 1, will be held at 3 p.m., Sun., July 3 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Newcastle.

On June 10, Dr. Henry Thomas Perkins died peacefully at his home in Bristol Mills with his three children by his side, after a decade-long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Shirley R. Grover, 79, of Newcastle, passed away on the evening of June 15 at the LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born in Montclair, N.J., on Aug. 11, 1936, she was the daughter of William Sr. and Margaret (Haigh) Dunbar.

Carole Ann Bodmer, 76, of Westport Island, passed away on the afternoon of June 19 at MaineGeneral in Augusta. Born in Natick, Mass. on June 15, 1940, she was the daughter of Frank Allen Wambolt and Rubye Elsie Jaeger of Franklin, Mass. She was a graduate of Franklin High School.

Clarice Jameson Giusani, 91, of Friendship, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 19.

Jesse T. Erskine, 31, of Boothbay, died unexpectedly on June 16. Jesse was born in Boothbay Harbor on Jan. 2, 1985 to Thomas Erskine and Bonnie (Peaslee) Erskine.
