Cynthia Colby Dodge, 69, of Westport Island, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2016 at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick.

Clinton Jon Rankin Sr., 70, of Alna, passed away March 6 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. Born in Damariscotta on April 15, 1945, Clint was the son of the late Clarence Fay Rankin and Avis Ellen Hassan Rankin. Clint grew up in Alna, attended school there and was a lifelong resident.

Dean A. Verney, 50, of Brunswick, formerly of Sheepscott, passed away April 7 after a brief but tough battle with mesothelioma cancer at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

Norma Moody Dion, 81, of Nobleboro, widow of Donald “Bud” Dion, died on April 8.

Eldora Mae Brewer, 87, passed away peacefully on April 7 at the Gregory Wing, Boothbay Harbor. She was born on June 9, 1928 to Clarence Poore and Ida (Hutchins) Poore of Boothbay. Eldora was the only child of Clarence and Ida, and went to local schools. Eldora’s father died when she was very young and she was raised by her mother, Ida, and her grandmother, Lavina.

Bradley Vernon Collamore, 67, of Bremen, passed away after a long battle with ALS on April 10. Brad was born on May 17, 1948 in Bremen to Edwin and Ferne (Eldridge) Collamore.

A graveside service for Margaret Reeves, who passed away at her home in Bristol on Feb. 27, will be held at 11 a.m., Wed., April 20 at the New Harbor Cemetery in New Harbor.

Carleton “Junior” Sylvester Simmons Jr., passed away April 6 in Bangor. He was born Sept. 20, 1939 in Washington to Carleton and Grace (Forrest) Simmons Sr.

Mary Elizabeth Douglass Grady, 72, of Waldoboro passed away peacefully April 7 surrounded by family. She was born Jan. 5, 1944 in Whitefield to Chester and Bernice Douglass II.

Theodore Erlon Bachelder, 79, of Sugar Hill and West Lebanon, N.H., died on April 3 at home in West Lebanon comforted by his loving family and wife, Rae.

Thomas MacElman, 41, of Wiscasset, died April 6 at his residence.

Elizabeth Chicoine Eldridge, 93, of Boothbay, formerly of Newark, Del., passed away peacefully at her home on April 6. At her bedside were her children, Phoebe A. Eldridge of Newark, Del., Matthew V. Eldridge of Boothbay, Elizabeth Po-Yan Eldridge of Canton, Ohio, and Jonathan O. Eldridge of Brattleboro, Vt.

Megan May Barrett, 35, of Lansing, Mich., passed away early in the morning on March 19 after a massive hemorrhagic stroke. She was surrounded by her loved ones throughout her time in the Neurological ICU and during her last weeks in hospice care.

Clinton Rankin Sr., 70, passed away on March 6.
