Bradley Vernon Collamore, 67, of Bremen, passed away after a long battle with ALS on April 10. Brad was born on May 17, 1948 in Bremen to Edwin and Ferne (Eldridge) Collamore.
Brad attended Bremen schools and received his GED in the U.S. Army, where he served in the Vietnam War.
Brad worked long hard days as a clam digger and in his early days worked as a logger. He was a long time member of the oxen pulling community and won many awards for his passion and commitment to pulling and his animals.
Brad was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Sterling and Merritt; and sister, Ellen.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Patricia (Pat) Collamore; son, Tim Collamore and wife Carol of Bremen; daughters, Michelle Wile of Augusta, and Carey Collamore of Cushing; grandchildren, TJ Collamore, Billy Collamore, Renee Seavey, Brandon Seavey, Jacob Poland, and Joshua Poland; great-grandson, Mario Cardona; and sister, Sandra Lewis and husband Ted of Bristol.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sun., April 17 at the Shuman Cemetery in Waldoboro followed by a celebration of Brad’s life at the home of Pat’s nephew, Tony Gallace, 173 Depot St., Waldoboro.
