Ted Howard, 79, of Warren, iconic mechanic, car parts enthusiast, collector, father of three, grandfather to four and friend to many died Dec. 24.

C. Charles Ashton, 69, of Wiscasset, died Dec. 18 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick after a courageous battle with cancer.

Clayborn Edwin Northrup, 78, of Union, died peacefully of complications from Alzheimer’s disease on Dec. 23 at the South Portland Nursing Home in South Portland.

A memorial service for Robert and Margaret Baker will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sat., Dec. 13 at the Second Congregational Church in Newcastle. The Rev. Ken Dale will officiate.

Brian Crocker, 57, of Pemaquid Beach, passed away Dec. 22 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Gregory Alan Hodge, 62, of Jefferson, transitioned peacefully on Dec. 10 on the hospice unit at the Togus VA, with his loved one Cynthia Bragg by his side.

A memorial service for Dorothy Sidelinger of Damariscotta, who passed away Nov. 18, will be held at 11 a.m., Mon., Dec. 15 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Newcastle.

Richard W. Salewski, 56, of Nobleboro, passed away peacefully at home after a hard-fought battle with cancer, on Dec. 7 surrounded by his loving family.

Arlene Mae Johnson, “Peep”, 59, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully Dec. 23 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Frederica Rhinelander Brown Lincoln, 91, of Wiscasset, died peacefully Dec. 15.

Neil E. Payson, 84, died Dec. 1 at the Maine Veterans Home in Augusta.

E. Libby Hopkins, 82, of Waldoboro, died on Dec. 5 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus.

Arthur R. Emanuelson, 73, of Waldoboro, died unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Dec. 12 in Warren.

Mary M. Day, 75, of Madison, passed away Dec. 13 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
