Madeline Elizabeth Simmons Ross, 83, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully, on the evening of Oct. 17, at her home with family by her side.

Jane MacLean Walker Kennedy, 81, died Sept. 29 in Portland after a short illness.

Sally Benson Cougle passed away on Oct. 3 at her home in Newcastle. She was born in Manchester, Conn., the daughter of Ernest and Mary Benson.

John Joseph “Joe” Kindred III, 83, of Pemaquid, passed away at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta on Sept. 19.

Carlene Wright, 84, of Woolwich, died Oct. 21 peacefully with her loved ones by her side, including her best friend, Hazel Adams at Winship Green Nursing Center in Bath.

William J. Curtis, 86, of Wiscasset, passed away on Oct. 3. Born on Jan. 9, 1928, “Bill” was the son of the late Joseph W. and Mabel M. Curtis.

Mr. Douglas Charles Wallace, 90, of Waldoboro, and a proud WWII veteran and patriot, passed away on Sept. 22 after a short and unexpected illness.

Beatrice Hazel Mathieson Mulligan, 89, of Trumbull, Conn., passed away Sept. 10 at her home.

A graveside service for T. Marie McLellan, who died Jan. 18, will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., Sept. 6 at Evergreen Cemetery in Boothbay. A reception will follow at American Legion, 25 Industrial Park Rd., Boothbay.

Patricia J. Dighton, 70, of Wiscasset, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 30 at her residence with family by her side.
