Gloria I. Brewer, 75, of Edgecomb, died Oct. 19 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

Margaret “Peg” W. Ulin, 81, of West Grove, Penn. and Newark, Del., passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Oct. 2, surrounded by her beloved family.

Horace N. Killam, 83, of Bedford, N.H., former resident of Kittery and long-time resident of Round Pond and Sandown, N.H., passed away on Oct. 19 after a brief illness.

Sylvia Pike Munro, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, was escorted to heaven on Sept. 19, three days before her 98th birthday, by her precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Martha L. Jacobs, 78, of Brunswick died Oct. 28 at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick following a long illness.

Mike Rosenthal, of Round Pond, passed away Oct. 8. He was born Michael “Mike” Francis Rosenthal on Nov. 13, 1938 to Mina Barnett and Edward Marcus Rosenthal of Meriden, Conn.

Betty Hodgkins Ackerman, 87, passed away Oct. 1 at Newport Hospital surrounded by her family.

Jean Rimer Otterbein Ott, 97, long-time companion of John Powell, passed away in the early morning of Oct. 30, after a brief illness.

Thomas S. Hoffmann, beloved composer, lost his life to a major myocardial infarction and arteriosclerosis on Oct. 15 at his home in Mariposa, Cal.

James H. McLaughlin, 76, of Round Pond, passed away on the evening of Sept. 29 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

David Wendel Hidden, 73, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at his home on Aug. 29.

Norma A. Neilsen, 86, of Damariscotta, passed away on Sept. 16 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta after a long illness.

A lone figure being followed by the big, black dog, Mister, can no longer be found walking his blueberry fields in the early morning mist. Francis Greenwood Cross has parted from our world on Aug. 28 and wanders now with God.

Harry Tuck Leach, 95, of Sawyers Island (Boothbay), passed away peacefully on Sept. 11 at the Gregory Wing in Boothbay Harbor.
