Mary A. Poland, 83, of Damariscotta, passed away at Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta on the morning of Jan. 29.

C.T. (Charles Talton) Hughes Jr., 77, of Somerset, Ky. and Newcastle, passed away Jan. 24 at his residence.

Naomi E. Bagnell, 87, beloved aunt of Richard and Jane Price of Newcastle, passed away peacefully at her home on Jan. 1 with her niece, nephew and close friends by her side.

Patricia L. (Arthur) Myers, of Leominster, Mass., formerly of Tavares, Fla., died peacefully on Jan. 26 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.

Roger W. Bramhall, 72, of Friendship, beloved husband of Verna Studley Bramhall, died unexpectedly Jan. 22 at PenBay Medical Center’s Emergency Department in Rockport.

Herbert Walter Sears, of Damariscotta, and formerly of Rocky Hill, Conn., died peacefully on Mon., Jan. 2 at his home at Schooner Cove overlooking the Damariscotta River. He was 93.

Dorothy Bader, 93, passed away quietly, surrounded by her loving family on Jan. 14 at her home in Maine.

Lloyd N. Bailey Jr., 54, of Bath, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 23 at his residence.

Philip Carlton Hall, 77, of Waldoboro, died Jan. 23, surrounded by his family, at his home.

Lawrence E. Bailey, of Scarborough, passed away on Jan. 3 after a short battle with lung cancer at the Gosnell House in Scarborough.

John James Oliver Jr., 61, of Newcastle, died peacefully Jan. 13 at Cove’s Edge Nursing Home in Damariscotta following complications of pneumonia.

Robert P. Lawrence, 72, of Jefferson, died unexpectedly Jan. 24 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta as a result of an automobile accident in Jefferson.

Gordon “Bud” Blank, 93, of New Harbor, passed away on the morning of Jan. 20 in New Harbor.

Nancy M. Smith, 75, of West Boothbay Harbor, died Dec. 28, 2011 at home with her daughters, grandchildren, and friends at her bedside following a long battle against lung cancer.
