James E. Pranes, 81, of Waldoboro, passed away on April 25 at Glenridge Rehabilitation in Augusta.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Arlene V. Reed, who passed away Feb. 8, will be held 1 p.m., Sat., May 18 at the Damariscotta Baptist Church, 4 Bristol Rd., Damariscotta. Rev. Glen Vaughn will officiate. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery, Edgecomb.

George Edwin Wellman, 72, of Waldoboro, died April 8. He was born Oct. 8, 1940 in Waldoboro to Lester J. Wellman Sr. and Helen B. Creamer Wellman.

Wesley Austin Lash Sr., of Friendship, died unexpectedly at his home March 25.

Richard “Rit” Woolley, 77, Friendship, passed away peacefully at his home on April 8 with his loving family by his side.

Edward Meserve Jackson died peacefully on April 19 at Washington, D.C. Community Hospice, after a long illness and stroke.

Russell E. Wotton Sr., 79, of Waldoboro, died April 19 at his home.

Elizabeth “Betty” Kimmich, 79, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully after a long illness and declining health on April 8 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Committal service for Vernon Jordan, who died March 26, will be held 2 p.m., Fri., May 3 at Orff’s Corner Cemetery in Waldoboro.

Ariel Mae Linscott, 92, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on April 18 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Susan A. Brown, 65, of Waldoboro, died March 25 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center, Rockport, following a three-year battle with cancer.

Celia Guptill, 87, passed away on the morning of April 29 at Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility with her loving family by her side.
