Gloria (Clifford) Gifford, 86, of Rockland, beloved wife of the late Robert W. Gifford, died peacefully on Oct. 27 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport, surrounded by her family.

Paul A. Quintal, 88, of Nobleboro, passed away peacefully Oct. 26 at his residence after several months of declining health with his daughter at his side.

Leon H. Cohen, 84, a successful business owner, conservationist and philanthropist, died Nov. 4 of heart disease at his home in Weston, Mass.

Susan Marie Bartlett Webb, 87, of Groton, Conn., passed away Nov. 4 at her home.

Guilford L. Bryant, 90, of Newcastle, passed away on the evening of Oct. 30 in Augusta. Born in Athol, Mass. on Oct. 1, 1921, he was the son of Leroy and Catherine (Prime) Bryant.

Richard “Dick” Stockton Vogels, 82, of Newcastle, passed away on Nov. 10 at home, surrounded by his family and his dogs.

Charles M. Vincent, 73, of Round Pond, passed away on the evening of Nov. 4 at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with his son by his side.

Earl Franklin Steele went to his final rest on Oct. 25 in Springfield, Ga. He was born in Camden, N.J. on July 18, 1977.

Janette Stephenson Branch, died on Nov. 10. Born in Lewiston on March 4, 1925, she was the only child of the late Bessie (Stewart) and Milton Stephenson.

Roscoe C. Varney, 62, of Wiscasset, died Nov. 6 at his residence.

David Reed, 47, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away Nov. 29 surrounded by his family after a period of failing health.

Dolores S. Maguire, 80, of Wiscasset, died Nov. 3 at her residence.
