John Arthur Thompson, 74, of Hilton Head, S.C. and Friendship, and formerly of Mequon, Wis., passed away peacefully on Sept. 21 after suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

Lawrence Perry Murphy, 83, passed away in his sleep Sept. 5 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Barbara J. Kinney, 79, of Washington, died Aug. 7 at home after a long illness.
