Sherri L. Gifford-Hopkins, 53, of Winslow, died March 26 after a brief illness at MaineGeneral Medical center in Augusta.

Ruth Rhoads Lepper Gardner, 105, of Southport, renowned artist, mapmaker and local personality, passed away April 16 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Thomas William “Bill” Rogers, 90, of Round Pond, passed away on April 6 in Rome, N.Y. after a short illness.

Robert Joel Fossett Jr., 64, of Bristol, passed away on March 30 at his home in the woods on the land that he loved.

James Harold Brown, 74, Westport Island, passed away on April 3 at Indiana University Health Bloomington.

Flora Pennell, 97, of Newcastle, died on April 13 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta after a brief illness.

Donald A. Moody, 80, of Wells, passed away March 30 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

Thomas W. Rogers, 90, passed away on the evening of April 6 in Rome, N.Y.

David B. Ruscetta, 66, of Boothbay Harbor, died March 29 at his residence following a long illness.

Johnson E. Nein, 46, of Wiscasset, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 9.

A graveside service will be held for Norma Jean Erskine, who passed away March 16, at 11 a.m., Sat., May 7 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Boothbay.
