Shirley Banks Waltz, 81, of Damariscotta, passed away with her family by her side on the afternoon of Jan. 31.

Clifford A. Porter, 97, of Waldoboro, and longtime Bear Hill Market owner, died Jan. 30 at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden after a period of failing health.

Ava Virginia Wallace, 93, died Feb. 9 at the Cushing Group Home in Cushing.

Filmont W. “Nick” Foss, 79, of Nobleboro, died Feb. 1 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Belva Beatrice (Brann) York, 72, of Cooper’s Mills, passed away after a courageous battle against cancer at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta Campus, on Feb. 6 surrounded by her loving family.

Arlene M. Prior, 90, a longtime resident of Bremen, died peacefully on Feb. 24 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta, with her loving daughter and grandchildren by her side.

Bobby Jean Palardy, 70, of Newcastle, passed away in her husband’s arms on the evening of Feb. 6.

Sirkka Ahlskog, of Warren, passed away Feb. 17, after a period of declining health.

Thomas Davenport, of Round Pond, formerly of Accord, N.Y., son of Edward Davenport and Fanny Kiff Davenport died on Feb. 5, at Holmes Medical Center, Melbourne, Fla.

Logan G. Rice, 15, of Bremen, passed away with her family by her side at the Maine Medical Center in Portland on Feb. 20.

Frances Arnold Bowden, 82, of Waldoboro, formerly of Pennsylvania, longtime educator, died Jan. 19, at the Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport after a period of failing health.

Eileen M. Jones, 53, of Wiscasset, died Feb. 21 at the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association Hospice House in Concord, N.H. after a lengthy, courageous 15-year battle with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer.

Maureen Anne Keating, 65, of Walpole, was freed from her earthly struggles on Feb. 2 in the presence of her family and her best friend.
