Captain Robert S. Hopkins, of Walpole, passed away on Nov. 6 following by-pass surgery at Portland’s Maine Medical Center.

Lester Hall Vinal Jr., 83, of Nobleboro, went home to be with the Lord Dec. 9 at his home.

Albert Leon Setz, 70, of West Boothbay Harbor, died Dec. 2 at his home. He was born Oct. 3, 1939 in Aurora, Ill., a son of Albert and Alma Jobe Setz.

Calvin “Roy” Bragg, 88, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at his home Dec. 22.

Georgia B. Vrooman, 73, of Nobleboro, passed away on Dec. 8 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Rena H. Osier, 84, of Yarmouth, entered into eternal peace on Nov. 29. Rena was born on Nov. 6, 1925, the daughter of Marion and Arthur Hall of Jefferson.

Raymond Hilton True passed away peacefully from complications of Alzheimer’s at Cove’s Edge nursing home in Damariscotta on Dec. 18.

Lucy M. Snowman, 95, a lifetime resident of Southport, died Dec. 11 at the Safe Havens in Boothbay Harbor.

Bertha Wright Paquett, of Edgecomb, passed away on Dec. 9 after a brief stay at St. Andrews Hospital in Boothbay Harbor.

Sandra Estella (Benner) Winchenbach, 56, of Bucksport, passed away on Dec. 8 after a long battle with cancer.

Mary Elizabeth Fowler, 97, died on Nov. 21 after a long and productive life.

Thelma Gilnack Niederfringer, 93, passed away on Dec. 13 in a Longmeadow, Mass. nursing home.
