Maurice J. O’Connell, 95, of Damariscotta, died peacefully the morning of Jan. 18 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta on the 14th anniversary of the death of Marian Grab O’Connell, his devoted wife of 59 years.

John Alfred Johnson, 66, of Edgecomb, died Jan. 11 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Mass.

Arthur John Wylie, 71, of Nobleboro, died suddenly Jan. 1 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland with his family at his side.

Thelma B. Perley, 89, passed away on Jan. 22 at Chase Point Assisted Living Facility in Damariscotta, where she had resided for four years.

Carter Stilson, M.D., prominent pediatrician and part-time resident of New Harbor, passed away in New Haven, Conn. on Jan. 7.

Carolyn Kerb Bailey, 49, daughter of David and Sylvia Bailey of Newcastle, died on Dec. 30 at Exeter Healthcare, Exeter, N.H., three days before her 50th birthday.

James (Jimmy) Osmond, 61, of Woolwich, passed away on Jan. 22 after a long brave battle with cancer.

Clinton (Bud) Brackett, 92, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away peacefully Jan. 11 at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor.

Marjorie Louise Shephard, 88, of Bath, passed away Dec. 28, 2010 in Brunswick after a short illness.
