Harriet J. Willey, 80, of Bristol, passed away at Wiscasset Green Assisted Living on the evening of Feb. 11. Born in Damariscotta on Sept. 19, 1930, she was the daughter of Wilder and Nellie Erskine.
Harriet grew up in Bristol and attended Bristol schools before going on to graduate from Lincoln Academy. For several years she worked at Waltz’s Pharmacy in Damariscotta.
She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. She loved to cook and was a great knitter. She loved the holidays, and decorating for the holidays, but her absolute favorite was Halloween. She was also a lifelong Red Sox fan.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
She is survived by her children, Paul Willey and wife Ginny of Bristol and Cynthia Quintus and husband Frank of Brunswick, Ohio; sister, Helen Erskine of Boothbay; as well as four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held in the spring at the Bristol Mills Cemetery in Bristol.
