Committal service was held at 11:30 a.m., April 26 at the Lakeview Cemetery with full military honors; Chaplain Andy Stinson officiated.

Carol M. West, 77, of Bremen, died peacefully on April 11 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, Mass. from complications after recent cancer surgery.

Virginia Simmons Winchenbach, 93, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully on March 20 at Glenridge Nursing Facility in Augusta.

Barbara (Harrington) White, 84, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on March 2 at Miles Hospital.

Charles North Ludlow, 82, died Feb. 28 at home with his family. He was born on March 22, 1927 in Glen Cove, L.I., N.Y., the son of Jane (North) Ludlow and Charles E. Ludlow.

Jean Brooks Shackelford, 91, of Damariscotta, passed away on March 22 at the Lincoln Home after a long illness.

Josephine “Jo” Ann Hinds, 72, of Waldoboro, passed away Feb. 24 at Maine Medical Center with her family by her side.

Robert H. (Bob) Gardiner, 82, of Nobleboro, passed away Feb. 26 after a brief illness. He was born on Oct. 18, 1927 in Skowhegan, the son of Wesley Wellington and Leah (Thompson) Gardiner.

William H. Isbister, 70, of Windsor, died March 20 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland with his family and friends by his side.

Randall Irving Gross, 56, of Waldoboro, passed away on March 1 at his home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Robert James Lewis, 65, of Warren, died peacefully March 15 in his home surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.

Warren Newell Genthner, 83, of Waldoboro, long time professional photographer, passed away on March 22 of failing health, but more recently pancreatic cancer.

Marjorie L. Magnuson, 94, Bristol, passed away peacefully at her home on March 1. She was the daughter of the late Harold Earle Bean and Olive Ava (Robbins) Bean of Braintree, Mass.
