Chester E. Meservey, 73, of Jefferson, died March 29 at Togus. He was born Jan. 18, 1937 in Jefferson, a son of John and Eva Hopkins Meservey. Chet grew up and attended local schools in Jefferson. He graduated from Erskine Academy.
