Francis V. “Frank” Colby, 61, of Boothbay, died at home early on the morning of Feb. 7, after a long courageous battle with lung cancer, with his wife Pat at his side.

Mary A. (Pickwick) Knapp, 98, of Augusta, formerly of Bristol Mills, died Jan. 30 at the Maine Veterans Home, Augusta.

Charles Franklin Adams, Jr., 91, of Falmouth and Ocean Point, died on Feb. 18.

Dr. William R. Woolner, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully on Jan. 27 at Miles Memorial Hospital with his wife and family at his side.

Ernest “Kack” Giles Sr., 92, of Boothbay, died Feb. 2 at St. Andrews Hospital in Boothbay Harbor after a brief period of failing health.

Donna L. Walizer, 69, of Golden Living Center, Oil City, Penn., passed away Feb. 19 after an extended illness.

Elliott “Pucky” C. Abbott, 86, of Wiscasset, died Feb. 7 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Ruth H. MacDonald, 65, of Nobleboro, passed away peacefully Feb. 2 at her home with her loving husband at her side.

Joan Huntley Cushing, 80, of New Harbor, passed away peacefully on Feb. 16.

Virginia Grayce Powell, 86, of Damariscotta, died peacefully on Feb. 5.

Florence E. Harrold, 100, of Boothbay Harbor, died Jan. 25 at her home.

Eleanor May Caton Cunningham, 82, of Wiscasset, died Feb. 17 at Amenity Manor in Topsham.

Kenneth O’Brien, 48, of Wells, passed away Feb. 5 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
