Henry C. Beerits, 97, of Sheepscot, died on July 25 at Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility, Miles Memorial Hospital, Damariscotta.

Evelyn M. Bailey, 86, of Wiscasset, died Aug. 7 at Edgecomb Green in Edgecomb with her family at her side.

Martha Verne (Webster) Libby, 70, of Bedford, Mass., passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Mass. on Aug. 20.

Anthony Blanchard Townsend, 89, of Newcastle, died peacefully on Aug. 6 in Damariscotta.

Beatrice Winchenbach, 83, of Waldoboro, died suddenly Aug. 12 at the Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Coneth Philip Murray, of Southport, died at his home on Aug. 18.

Shirley Laureen Gould-Jameson, 74, of Warren, died surrounded by her family at her home Aug. 7 after a long illness.

Rodney Clifford, AKA “Noddy Roddy,” 57, of Polk County, Fla., where he resided with his longtime partner Mary Griffith, passed away on Aug. 10.

Celebration and memorial service for Charles W. Strong, Sr., who passed away Feb. 2 will be 2 p.m., Sat., Aug. 30 at St. Giles Church, Rt. 126, Jefferson.
