Charles A. Wellman, 96, a lifetime resident of Waldoboro, died Dec. 9 at the Maine General Hospital in Augusta, after a long period of failing health.

Arabel C. Nelson, 84, of Camden, passed away Dec. 20 at the Glenridge Nursing Facility in Augusta.

Alice A. Ellis, 96, of Damariscotta, passed away at Cove’s Edge Nursing Home on Dec. 4.

Paul R. Springer Sr., 81, of Waldoboro, died Dec. 26 at the Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport after a brief illness.

Linda Bates Hazard, 64, of Belfast, died Dec. 6 in Rockport after a six-month battle with cancer.

Steven Walker, 59, of Alna, died unexpectedly Dec. 13.

Kathy Anne “Queen Bee” Connors, 22, of Wiscasset, died Dec. 10 at her residence.
