Another gold star for Renys! In mid-October I saw that Renys Underground had a large supply of Christmas cards on display, which made me realize Christmas was on the way.

Our fears have gotten us into the mess we’re in now. The Bush administration has played our fears like a violin.

I would like to thank everyone in the town of Waldoboro, for taking the time to vote, either at the poles or by absentee ballot.

The election is over, but for many, the elation is not. Neither is the bitterness, the vitriolic rhetoric and name calling which continued even in its last hours. This, after an election, is unprecedented.

Let’s give thanks that we live in this great country, where food is plentiful, and a fresh meal is usually only a trip to the local grocery store away.
