Mook Sea Farms, Inc. has applied to the Department of Marine Resources for a limited-purpose (3-year, experimental) aquaculture lease on a 4-acre site located west of Miles Hospital (Days Cove), Damariscotta River, Damariscotta, Maine for suspended culture of American/Eastern oysters, bay scallops, and surf clams. Other compatible uses of the area would be permitted.

The Municipal Officers of the Town of Damariscotta will hold a public hearing on March 20, 2019 at 5:30 p.m., at the Town Office located at 21 School St. to hear public comments on the following:
