Nomination papers are currently available at the Town Clerk’s Office for the position of Second Selectman to fill the remainder of the term muntil the March, 2019 Town Meeting. The election will be held on June 12, 2018.

The Bristol Town Office will be closed Monday, May 14th due to construction. In addition, please refrain from using the Town Office parking lot between Saturday May 12th and Monday May 14th as there will be falling shingles and nails.

The Parks Department will meet on Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ellingwood Information Center.

The Bristol Planning Board will meet on Thursday, May 17th, 2018 @ 7:00 p.m. at the Bristol Town Hall. This will be the regularly scheduled working meeting.

The Municipal Officers of the Town of Damariscotta will hold a Special Town Meeting on May 16, 2018 at 5:30 PM at the Town Office located at 21 School St. to ask citizens to consider the following:

Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Jefferson Village School to discuss and act on the School Budget which will be validated by secret ballot on June 12, 2018, with the polls open 8 am to 8 pm at the Jefferson Fire Station.

Thursday, May 10, 2018 there will be a Special Town Meeting at the Great Salt Bay Community School immediately following the 7:00 pm GSB Budget meeting. Both meetings are to vote on the elementary and secondary school budgets.

The Selectmen of South Bristol will hold a public wharf hearing May 17, 2018 on the application of UMO Darling Marine Center
to replace and expand an existing 94’ pier and 80’ gangway.

The Select Board will hold a public hearing Tuesday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Whitefield Fire & Rescue Station located at 24 Townhouse Rd. to discuss extending a moratorium on marijuana establishments.

The Town of Waldoboro, Maine Board of Appeals members will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on May 17th, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Waldoboro Municipal Building to consider a variance request application for 12 Jefferson Street.

The Great Salt Bay CSD District Budget Meeting will take place Thursday, May 10th, at 7:30 pm in the cafeteria of Great Salt Bay School.
