Great Salt Bay Community School runner Sam Russ won the 2014 Busline League cross-country championship Monday, Oct. 20 at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast. Russ beat out second-place runner Brendan Moline, of Troy Howard, by 21 seconds.

The KVAC championship games have been moved to Friday, October 24 at Morse High School’s turf field in Bath. The Lincoln Academy girls (8-3-3) will take on undefeated Waterville (have not given up a goal all year) at 5:30 p.m. The boys game will follow at 7:30 p.m.
