Wiscasset’s baseball team shut out Boothbay 10-0 in five innings on Tuesday. Tyler Bailey collected the win and Matt Craig the save. Logan Orr drove in three runs and Craig, Chase Reed and Brycson Grover one each in the win.

Boothbay girls avenged an earlier season loss to Wiscasset, with an 18-4 five inning mercy ruling win on Tuesday in Boothbay. The Seahawks were led Cagney O’Brien with a homerun and single, and M. Abbott 3 singles.

Lawrence girls and Messalonskee boys won a six-team KVAC track and field meet on April 30. Lincoln girls took fourth and the boys sixth.

Medomak Valley softball defeated Morse 9-5 Tuesday in Bath.

Medomak Valley baseball won the battle of county rivals, defeating Lincoln Academy 7-6 at the Waldoboro Recreation Complex April 29.

Lincoln Academy softball defeated Waterville 10-1 on Monday to improve their record to 8-0.

Oceanside softball handed Lincoln Academy their first loss of the season Friday in Newcastle.

Two Lincoln wrestlers, Adam St. Cyr and David Winchenbach, competed in the 2015 Phil Portuese North East Regional Freestyle tournament on May 2 and in the 2015 Phil Portuese North East Regional Greco tournament on May 3 as part of the Maine Trappers team.

Boys summer basketball camp will be held at Medomak Valley, Monday through Thursday, for three one week sessions. The camp is open to boys entering grades 2-10 in the RSU #40 district.

Lincoln Academy girls tennis team continued their unbeaten streak with a 5-0 win over Erskine Academy Friday.

Eagles 4×800 relay win KVAC championship

Lincoln Academy’s boys 4×800 relay team won the KVAC championship in a time of 8:47 with Ian Stapp, Angus Fake, Riley Cushing and Alex Organ running a leg. The win successfully defended their 2014 title, with only one runner returning, Organ.
