Medomak Valley boys soccer team took Lincoln Academy out of their game early and shocked them with two first half goals against the wind to win 2-0 during their Homecoming match-up on Saturday. The Eagles had just come off an emotional high after battling KVAC powerhouse Camden to a 0-0 tie and rolling 5-0 over Mt.View.

The grandstand and infield at Windsor Fair were filled to capacity Aug. 27 as thousands of fans flocked to the area to watch the truck and tractor pulls. Two local drivers, Derek Chapman of Jefferson and John Blodgett of Waldoboro competed.
