Adam St. Cyr (48) placed first at the Mt. Valley Youth Classic on Sunday in Rumford. St. Cyr was selected as the Outstanding Wrestler of the day in the grade K-2 division, and was presented with the Gery Dolloff OW Trophy.

The Maine State Girls Wrestling Championships were held at Massabesic Middle School in East Waterboro on Saturday, March 14. Six local wrestlers from Lincoln Academy, Medomak Valley, and Erskine Academy competed in the championship meet.
Riverhawk Wrestlers Continue to Soar
Medomak Middle School wrestlers pinned down seven wins this week, beating Troy Howard 54-35, Oceanside 51-29, and Hampden 87-6 in Belfast on March 11, and defeating Hampden 72-23, Mt. Blue 81-12, Mt. View 51-42, and Oceanside 72-15 at Mt. View on March 14.
